We honor the traditions that go into planning and organizing a Hindu, Jain or Sikh service. Our team is sensitive to traditions such as carrying the body feet-first and performing the ritual circling of the body prior to cremation.
This special package includes respectful preparation of the body for viewing and ceremony including bathing, shaving and dressing, as well as use of our prayer room for a gathering and prayer service and attended cremation.
CSNH honors our Buddhist families with a respectful approach to services. This includes all of the traditional Buddhist rituals of preparing the body, and assisting the family prior to and during the prayer service.
CSNH understands our Catholic families may choose a funeral service at their church. In that case, you will also have access to our equipment and staff at your place of worship. You may also choose to have a Catholic service/mass at our chapel.
The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is proud to serve our Hindu, Jain, and Sikh communities. Our unique cremation package includes preparation of the body for viewing and ceremony including bathing, shaving (if necessary) and dressing with traditional clothing provided by the family. This package also includes the use of a prayer room for gathering and a prayer service for up to two hours prior to cremation, including licensed staff member and service attendant to assist family.
This unique package includes a respectful and traditional preparation of the body. We also welcome the family’s attendance of the cremation preparation and the cremation process. We offer a video slideshow to play during the family gathering. The family may arrive thirty minutes before if needed to set up the room and to assist with the ritual dressing of deceased.
This package was developed specifically for our Buddhist families. We take care to ensure the body is carried and handled in the traditional, respectful manner. Family members are invited to participate in the body’s preparation for cremation, as well as attend the cremation process. Services such as transportation of the body, filing the death certificate and refrigeration are a standard part of this package as well.
This package is designed for families who choose to have a funeral mass at their church or service in one of our chapels. A funeral service is a loving tribute, honoring your loved one and their spirituality. This is also an opportunity for loved ones to begin the healing process. The service takes place after the cremation, and includes all services associated with the cremation, an urn, flowers, a memorial record package, and the use of our equipment and staff.
