Lisa A. Shapiro, 62, of Hudson, NH died on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH. She was born on December 4, 1959, in New Brunswick, NJ, the daughter of the late Norman and Sylvia M. (Zsak) Shapiro. Lisa had a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University. For twenty-five years, she worked in Program Management at companies; Avid, DEC and Nova Biomedical to name a few. She decided to get out of the corporate world and opened her own business. She owned and operated Pawsitively Yummy in Tyngsboro, MA for 10 years. Lisa had a passion for baking cookies and making chocolates during the Christmas holidays for friends, neighbors and customers. She volunteered her time at the Nashua Humane Society and as a moderator on the Cat Forum website. She was an avid Patriots fan and knew the plays well. Also, she was a good Poker player! Members of her family include; Robert Nemeth, Carol Nemeth, Melissa Nemeth-Paluzzi, the extended Wynot family, soul sibling Debbie Wilson, longtime friend Grace Hopkins, her furry kids Jake, Holly and Misty.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Service of Remembrance is planned for a later date.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make Memorial Contributions to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054 in memory of Ms. Shapiro.
