Megan Rexroat, a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Connecticut and Vermont, graduated with honors from Goodwin University in East Hartford, CT with an A.S. in Funeral Service and a B.S. in Professional Studies. She entered the funeral industry as a second career. Prior to finding her calling as a funeral director, Megan was the Manager of Corporate Projects for an international petrochemical trading company, as well as the Business Manager for the largest biodiesel plant in New England.
Megan entered the funeral industry thinking that she was a first-generation funeral director only to discover her maternal great, great, grandmother, Nora Sherman, was the first licensed female undertaker in the state of Montana.
Megan and her husband reside in Jamaica, VT, with their two cats, Hank and Lady. In her free time, Megan is on the board of directors for Winter Guard International, a non-profit youth organization promoting indoor color guard, percussion and winds activity. She also enjoys travelling and rooting for her favorite teams, the New York Yankees, New York Rangers and the Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball team.
